How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
As an Associate Director, Clinical Sourcing you will serve as a trusted member of the Strategic Sourcing team and focus on Clinical categories. You will be responsible to support the Development business partners achieving their objectives, while ensuring compliance with Intellia’s Supplier Selection Policy.

Customer focus:
-Partners with business stakeholders to build relationships that facilitate realization of business needs, values, and savingsCategory management:
-Develop and implement subcategory strategies for Clinical Research, Clinical Support Services, Clinical Technologies, Safety/Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and Compliance, and Medical Affairs
-Continually monitors the market to understand leading practices and changes in market conditionsStrategic Sourcing:
-Leads cross-functional teams using spend data analytics, market research, benchmarks, and cost modeling to identify and leverage high value opportunities that deliver innovative and sustainable value, operational efficiencies and risk mitigation to the businessContract & Negotiation:
-Support contract & negotiation process to drive for values, performance metrics, compliance, and risk mitigationRisk Assessment & Mitigation:
-Support business stakeholders on supplier on-boarding due diligence and periodical risk assessment and mitigation measures as requiredContinuous Improvements:
-Support the development and implementation of policies, processes, and continuous improvements opportunities in partnership with business stakeholders and cross functional teams
About You:
The Associate Director, Clinical Sourcing will have experience and demonstrated accomplishments in category management and strategic sourcing and has expertise in clinical category.
Strong collaboration skills with ability to build effective relationships and influence peers and key stakeholders
Strong analytical, communication, and project management skills
Ability to prioritize, multitask in a flexible, fast-paced, and high growth mode organization
Strong category management and strategic sourcing experience in Clinical category with strong knowledge of leading strategic sourcing practices
Strong experience with contract and negotiation of business terms and conditions
An understanding of supplier risk assessment and management best practices
Knowledge of strategic sourcing tools and systems, such as e-Sourcing platform, contract life management system, supplier risk assessment tools, etc.
A mindset of continuous improvements and learning
Bachelor’s degree required, with minimum of 7 years’ experience in category management and strategic sourcing, preferably in Biotech / Pharmaceutical industry
