How you will Achieve More with Intellia:

As we are advancing our therapies through the clinic, we are focused on enabling access to these therapies as broadly and as rapidly as possible.  As such, we are seeking a new team member to drive the development of access and HEOR strategies that will optimally demonstrate the value that our therapies can bring to patients globally.  Specific responsibilities will include:

  • Driving the global access and HEOR strategy for our development pipeline

  • Obtaining payer insights to inform access and HEOR strategy and implementation

  • Ensuring that access and health economic considerations are contemplated in the design of development / clinical development strategy for our pipeline therapies

  • Establishing HEOR initiatives to support access to our therapies as part of and beyond clinical trial / registrational programs

  • Leading initiatives to support the establishment and/or implementation of innovative access models for our transformative therapeutic modalities

  • Providing access / HEOR expertise as part of strategic portfolio decisions associated with our emerging pipeline


About You:
This is a high-impact role that will help to define the future of genetic and cellular medicine.  As such, you will be expected to possess an understanding of patient needs, global access paradigms, drug development approaches, and health economics and outcomes research.  It will also be critical to establish close working relationships with a multitude of internal functional stakeholders including, but not limited to, program leadership, clinical leadership, new product planning, and patient advocacy.  To position you for success in this role, you will be expected to have:

  • 8+ years of industry experience and/or consulting in health economics-focused roles

  • Direct experience providing input on clinical trial design as well as leading HEOR initiatives to support the demonstration of value and access to novel therapies

  • Strong understanding of global health technology assessment methodologies

  • Direct experience with development and submission of value dossiers in support of novel therapies

  • Experience with modeling approaches utilized in support of health technology assessments

  • Bachelors' degree required, Ph.D. and/or MBA preferred

Meet your future team:

The Strategy and Portfolio Management Team currently includes both New Product Planning and Portfolio Strategy and Analytics, and as such, supports the development and implementation of Intellia’s strategy at both the asset at the corporate level.  The integrated nature of our group helps to ensure that key strategic drivers at the portfolio level are integrated into program-level strategies for our assets and vice versa.  Given the potentially curative potential of our therapies, we recognize the importance of access and health economics as part of our strategic decision-making and are eager to bring an expert in this area into the team.
