How you will Achieve more with Intellia:

We are very excited to welcome an experienced Business Partner to our Human Resources team to serve as a trusted strategic advisor to client groups within the organization. Reporting to the Chief Human Resources Officer, you will be a key member of the HR Leadership team and be seen as a mentor to other members of the team. In this role, you will have opportunities to impact our HR programs and processes as we begin to think about scalability and optimization. Here are some of the key responsibilities of this role:

  • Advising the business on all HR matters – no matter how big or small

  • Acting as an internal consultant and coach by establishing trust and credibility with leaders and acts as a sounding board on organizational and people issues

  • Partnering with clients on organizational design and workforce planning in order to scale the organization for future growth, leveraging past experience to anticipate potential organizational issues

  • Providing guidance and advising people managers; acting in an inquisitive way to get to the root cause of issues; recommending and ultimately executing on appropriate plans to develop people, optimize the organizational structure, and create an engaged culture

  • Facilitating employee relations in a positive and proactive manner with exceptional judgment

  • Designing and delivering targeted solutions to emerging business issues, including strategic planning, change management, and team building

  • May lead and facilitate cross-functional projects across HR

  • Collaborating closely with the HR team to roll out corporate initiatives

  • Partnering with HR COE's to design programs that reflect our values

  • Extensive and progressive HR experience, and ideally with some time spent in the Biotech or Pharmaceutical space

  • Exceptional communicator, influencer, and relationship-builder

  • Proven track record of handling a variety of employee relations issues and a solid understanding of employment law

  • Strong team orientation and ability to yourself and others accountable

  • Embody our core values, demonstrating mutual respect, courage, and candor

  • Exceptional judgment when making decisions and always considers the relevance/impact of each decision

  • Experience working in a dynamic, high-growth environment

  • Strong analytical skills; can identify and analyze problems and propose solutions, and a solid understanding of how to use metrics to drive decisions

Meet your future team:

The HR team is a self-motivated and lively group, with an innate curiosity to learn. You will report to the Chief Human Resources Officer. You will work closely with the larger HR department, made up of 18 individuals (and growing!)

While the team is currently working virtually, we do have plans to return to the Cambridge MA office tentatively scheduled for September 2021. Although in a virtual environment, the Human Resources team has made it a priority to continue to foster a sense of community among the group. This includes virtual happy hours, team all-hands meetings, game nights, and more! You can expect to join a hardworking, collaborative environment.
