Executive Assistant

We apply CRISPR/Cas9 genome editing and gene therapy technologies to edit and restore genes to their normal, healthy sequence, or to delete toxic disease-causing genes. SUMMARY:
Intellia is seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high level administrative and logistical support to the Chief Medical Officer. This role requires experience working for corporate executives, excellent organizational skills, demonstrated attention to detail and a commitment to confidentiality. Additionally, the successful candidate must be able to engage professionally and collaboratively with all levels and functions within the company as well as with external partners.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage complex calendars (internal/external meetings, conferences, etc.) with thoughtfulness and advanced planning
- Prepare agendas and briefing materials for executives in preparation for meetings
- Schedule and coordinate intricate and constantly changing domestic and international travel
- Develop and submit expense reports for executives as well as external visitors
- Draft, review/proofread and disseminate executive communications (letters, emails, meeting agendas, presentations, etc.)
- Assist with time-sensitive projects to ensure successful completion by deadline
- Handle and compile confidential materials
- Schedule all Board, Committee and executive-level meetings
- Research and identify appropriate venues for board and executive level meetings
- Manage logistics for board dinners and off-site leadership meeting
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 10+ years work experience as an Executive Assistant and/or significant experience in a mid-size or large corporation. Experience with managing executives to accomplish administrative responsibilities
- Excellent word processing skills and expertise in MS Office applications (specifically Word, PowerPoint and Excel), Adobe Acrobat, Windows and OSX operating systems
- Team player with excellent interpersonal communication, collaboration and organizational skills

- Excellent planning, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, manage high volume work-flow and meet deadlines
- Excellent judgement and decision-making skills in complex business environment
- Exceptional attention to detail, problem solving, and proofreading abilities
- Must be able to work independently and within a team environment with high degree of professionalism
- Self-motivated performer with strong interpersonal skills
