How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
We are excited to continue to grow our CMC Operations Team by welcoming this new member to our function and to Intellia. This critical role will report directly to the Associate Director of Materials Management and Logistics and will interface with CMC, QA, QC, External Manufacturing, and our external manufacturing sites to ensure supply to patients. If you have strong interpersonal skills and can influence without authority and gain trust and credibility quickly, this is the role for you! As the Manager, Materials Management, you will:
- Oversee the raw materials planning and procurement for all stages of Intellia’s pre-clinical and clinical programs
- Maintain a comprehensive Materials Management program to support internal GMP Manufacturing of clinical trial material
- Contribute to the build and implementation of an electronic inventory management system
- Collaborate regularly with highly cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Quality, Warehouse, and Procurement to ensure the appropriate parts are specified and available to support the manufacturing campaigns
- Accountable for creating Purchase Requisitions and Purchase Orders in Oracle, placing orders with suppliers, and expediting deliveries as needed
- Escalates to management and key stakeholders with proposed mitigation strategies as required
- Supports the quality systems (Change Controls, Deviations, assessments, and CAPA) for material-related issues
- Participate in projects (e.g., tech transfers, Oracle improvements) and lead continuous improvement activities to positively impact key performance metrics
- Maintain relevant master data and assists in site Oracle support
- Back-up support for Logistics and Warehousing operations
About You:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Life Sciences, Business, Supply Chain, or related area
- Demonstrated project and team leadership skills
- Experience with cell and gene therapy supply chain planning and materials management preferred
- Ability to act in a complex and rapidly changing business environment

The CMC Operations Team is a driven and enthusiastic with an amazing ability to form valuable and trusting relationships with our CMOs and Strategic Suppliers. The CMC Operations Team works closely with Process Development, Analytical Development, Internal Manufacturing, Quality, Regulatory, Finance, Strategic Sourcing & Procurement, Legal and Program Management to deliver against functional and program goals.
