How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
Intellia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Research Associate with flow cytometry experience to join our growing team. The flow cytometry core at Intellia is key to advance many early and late-stage projects. In this role, you will provide flow cytometric support. This position is highly collaborative and interactive across various teams. Key role responsibilities include:
Assist with daily operations of the flow cytometry core facility
Provide cell sorting support for teams across the company
Keep records of the lab inventory
Help maintain a thorough quality control/ quality assurance program
Organize the repair and routine maintenance of the equipment
Assist users with technical aspects of flow cytometry-based projects including panel design, data analysis, and troubleshooting
Support technology research and development and translational efforts
Communicate research and development findings with internal and external partners
Our ideal candidate will have expertise in utilizing flow cytometry in skills ranging from sample preparation to operating state-of-the-art instruments. You should bring excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to adapt and rapidly learn new techniques to the role. Additional role qualifications include:
B.S. or M.S in cellular biology, immunology, molecular biology, or related field
Experience with problem solving and troubleshooting experiments
Ability to work well in a highly cross-functional team environment
Flexible schedule preferred

You will report to a Senior Manager who has spent nearly 5 years with Intellia so far and is very knowledgeable on the company’s history and mission. Your future team is a group of dedicated individuals, driven to change patients’ lives. As we build our team, we’re excited to work with people who share our commitment and energy to making a difference.
The team is currently working mostly onsite, and therefore we hope you are currently local to Cambridge MA, or open to relocating. While much of the day-to-day operations require lab work, our team is focused on building not just technical expertise but fostering an environment for the growth of scientists interested in a career in therapeutic biotechnology.
