Intellia is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Scientist to join the eDev team! In this role, you will be responsible for developing, optimizing, validating/qualifying, and executing bioanalytical methods in a collaborative environment working closely with team members. The role includes performance of ligand binding and enzymatic activity methods across multiple platforms (e.g., ELISA, MSD, Luminex) for both assay development and routine sample analysis. The team is responsible for various elements of the preclinical bioanalysis, including data analysis and review as well as communication of findings with internal and external partners. You will have an important role in supporting programs in the early development, preclinical, and clinical stages.
Additional role responsibilities include:
Design, implement, and troubleshoot bioanalytical experiments, both independently and in collaboration with colleagues
Perform routine study sample bioanalysis to support early development and preclinical studies
Participate in routine laboratory operations including coordination of sample testing and maintenance of laboratory sample and reagent inventory
Document experimental details using Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) in an accurate and timely manner
Assist with tech transfer of assays to internal and external labs
Communicate effectively and thrive in a team with time-critical objectives
Write and follow standard operating procedures.
Ensure safety and data quality are paramount throughout the laboratory environment.
About You:
Our ideal candidate is an enthusiastic and collaborative team-first player with:
Hand- on experience with ligand binding and enzymatic assays
Ph.D or MS in Biology or related discipline, with relevant experience in academic or industrial setting
Strong interpersonal and communications skills (written and oral), coupled with exceptional time management skills and attention to detail
Familiarity with GLP/GCLP regulatory expectations
