How you will Achieve More with Intellia:
Be a part of a team that enables translating the R&D organizations’ discoveries into life-saving therapies. In addition to the daily asset management tasks below, this is an opportunity to impact a growing organization by building then leading Technical Operations asset management. You will work to define, implement, and manage scalable processes that ensure all Technical Operations lab assets are compliant and ready for use. Serving as the point of contact and liaison for asset management with lab leadership, QA, IT, and supporting vendors you ensure all TechOps assets can support pipeline advancement.
Define, build, and manage scalable and comprehensive processes that ensure all lab assets are compliant and ready for use.
Assist in developing, implementing, and managing laboratory best practices in collaboration with senior leadership.
Manage asset lifecycle and inventory database towards phase-appropriate compliance.
Define and manage IQ/OQ/PQ needs for physical assets.
Proactively identifying gaps, developing KPI and metrics, and communicating solutions to senior management.
Collaborate with lab operations, IT, QA, Facilities, and Purchasing to ensure lab assets are mission ready.
Primary POC for vendor service scheduling.
Coordinating routine preventative maintenance and repair services.
Run daily, weekly and monthly maintenance on lab equipment
If you have an AS/BS in life sciences and 3-8 years of experience in a GLP or GMP biotech/pharma/research facility holding positions of increasing responsibility, this could be the role for you! Specific experience should include being tasked with asset maintenance and vendor management in a GXP facility. To be successful in this role, you must be able to build and maintain strong, cross-functional relationships with key stakeholders, and be a trusted team leader. Expertise in the upkeep of cell and gene therapy R&D-scale analytical instrumentation like flow cytometers, liquid handling systems, imaging systems, DNA sequencers, PCR systems, centrifuges, chromatography equipment, mass spectrometers, tube welders and sealers, plate readers, incubators, washers and dispensers, refrigerators, freezers, bioreactors, and other support equipment is required. Experience with managing a computerized maintenance management system. Demonstrated ability to think creatively in a matrixed team and work with confidence during periods of ambiguity. Proven ability to assess issues with a high degree of critical thinking, sound judgment, and the ability to adapt to changes in priorities or the work environment.

The CMC Operations function is a new team within CMC Strategy and Operations focused on ensuring our scientists are mission-ready to translate transformative discoveries into life-saving therapies. You will report directly to the Senior Manager of CMC Operations and support asset processes for multiple laboratories with unique roles and needs. The hiring manager values teamwork, efficiency, communication, and a focus on the voice of the customer.
