How You Will Achieve More With Intellia:

The Shipping & Receiving Position and Function is responsible for performing and the execution of all shipping and receiving, policies, and procedures in a fast-paced environment and influencing stakeholders across the organization.

Areas of responsibility include but are not limited to managing and processing all incoming and outgoing deliveries and shipments, processing all required documentation for local, domestic and international shipments, performing all required Oracle document record keeping with respect to packing slips, asset tag management assistance and physically capable of lifting storing and moving a variety of packages and cargo. This role requires that all associated trainings and certifications needed to perform the role are maintained. The Shipping and Receiving position will support both Intellia’s R&D and G&A functions while working  cross functionally with other departments with-in the Facilities Operations and EH&S department as well as with the Procurement and Accounts Payable.

Specifically, the Senior Manager of Shipping and Receiving Logistics is accountable for

  • Perform tasks related to off loading or assisting with offloading daily freight couriers and trailer deliveries.

  • Processing all incoming and outgoing packages.

  • Executing internal Material Transfers

  • Processing or assisting with the processing daily mail collection and sorting

  • Communicate with all stack holders associated with incoming and outgoing shipments

  • Ensuring all shipping & receiving procedures are followed

  • Perform all shipping and receiving tasks with a high level of customer service

  • Partner with the Lab Management and EH&S Function on ensuring proper inventory management of consumables, flammables and required supplies for both functions.

About You:

  • Previous experience working as a Shipping Receiver in the Biotech Industry

  • Required Training, IATA, DEP

  • Must have strong analytical and data - driven skill set

  • Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.

  • Able to work independently as a problem solver and solution generator.

  • Demonstrated effective cross-cultural and cross functional skills

  • Experience working with Oracle software

  • Ability to safely lift items weighing 50lbs.

  • High School Diploma
